Hard to believe yesterday was the third Sunday of Advent! This coming Sunday, we wrap up our Advent Conspiracy series and receive our Conspiracy offering. I'm looking forward to it!
Now for the setlist:
Joy to the World 2007 arrangement by Don Chapman at HymnCharts
We had a nice crowd at First Christian Church yesterday and worship went very well with several older praise songs and a great arrangement of a hymn. We looked at the "shield of faith" as we continued our series called "Armed and Dangerous" from Ephesians 6:10-20.
Yesterday was a special day at our church as we dedicated a beautiful new stained glass cross in memory of Edmund Helling a dear man from our church who passed away 2 years ago. I was surprised by how chocked up I got during the prayer. I shouldn't be surprised as I tend to cry easily. Overall a good service while we continued our series "Armed and Dangerous" about the armor of God in Ephesians 6:10-20. I was a tad disappointed with the sermon as I felt like I lost my way in it a few times. As they say, if it's a mist in the pulpit it's a fog in the pews. I think today things were a bit foggy.
Another good day of worship at our church yesterday. We continued our series on the armor of God called "Armed and Dangerous" on Ephesians 6:10-20. This week we looked at the breastplate of righteousness.
