Reflections on Luke 21:1-24:53 #newthru30 Day 17

Hey everyone-

Sorry for the lack of reflections lately! I'll try to go back and revisit some of the previous day's readings as I get time. Here's some thoughts on Luke 21:1-24:53:
  • So what is Jesus talking about in Luke 21:1-38? I think the destruction of the temple in Jerusalem in 70 A.D. What do you think? Why?
  • I hate it when that happens Luke 22:3
  • Age old discussion on Judas and whether he had a choice or not. Did he have free will or was he predestined to betray Jesus? Luke 22:3-6
  • So which disciples where the swordsmen? Luke 22:38
  • God gives strength when we seek to carry out his will. Luke 22:43
  • What a powerful story! Luke 22:60-61
  • The charge Jesus died for, Luke 22:70-71
  • Can we forgive our enemies like Jesus did? Luke 23:34
  • How did the criminal know that Jesus was innocent? Luke 23:41
  • Is this the content of saving faith? Luke 23:42-43
  • You gotta love Easter! Luke 24:6
  • Is this a common refrain from Jesus to me? Luke 24:25
  • I sure wish Luke had included Jesus Torah lesson here! Luke 24:27
  • Cool features of the resurrection body! Luke 24:31
  • Amazing that with the day almost over and checked in for the night that they returned to Jerusalem at once! Luke 24:33
Later today I'll hope to have some reflections from Ephesians and Philippians posted! Keep reading!

Grace and peace,

Steve
